Open Faced Burrata BLT Sandwich with Lettuce, Bacon, Basil and Tomato Jam

OVERVIEW
This is a recipe developed by McKenzie from Grilled Cheese Social. It’s super easy but extremely delish! The only heat necessary is a toaster for the sourdough and either a microwave or a the stove top for some 5 min-crisped bacon.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 slices Sourdough
- 4 Butter Lettuce leaves
- 4 slices crispy cooked Bacon
- 2 medium sized Burrata balls
- 4 tbsp Tomato Jam, 2 tbsp each
- 1 small handful Basil leaves
- Salt flakes + Red pepper flakes for garnish

METHOD
- Line a microwave-safe plate with 3 layers of paper towels. Place bacon on top, without overlapping. Cover w/ another 2 layers of paper towels & microwave for 4-5 mins.
- Toast the sourdough until browned.
- Over each toasted sourdough, add 2 butter lettuce leaves, 2 slices crispy cooked bacon, a burrata ball.
- On top the burrata, add 2 tbsp of Tomato Jam. Garnish with basil leaves & add salt and red pepper flakes to taste.
